Rare Whisky up for auction

A rare 100 year aged half bottle of whisky will be auctioned on the 3rd February 2010 at McTear’s Auctioneers in Glasgow and is expected to fetch as much as £6000. The Springbank whisky was distilled by J & A Mitchell & Co Ltd in 1900 and drawn in 1927 and will be on auction along with other rare brands such as Macallan, Dalmore, Talisker, Bowmore and Highland Park.
